After configuring Grist, AI: Text-To-Speech, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Grist and AI: Text-To-Speech integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Grist and AI: Text-To-Speech (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Grist and AI: Text-To-Speech

Grist + AI: Text-To-Speech + Slack: When new records are created or updated in Grist, the text from those records is converted into speech using AI. The generated audio isn't sent directly, but a summary of the record and its audio conversion is sent to a designated Slack channel.

Grist + AI: Text-To-Speech + Email: Generate audio versions of reports created or updated in Grist. The flow triggers on record creation/update, converts relevant text to speech and emails the audio file (or link to file) to stakeholders, facilitating easier listening of report updates.
