Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Hive, Box, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Hive and Box integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Hive and Box (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Hive and Box

Hive + Box + Slack: When a Hive project reaches completion, the associated project files are automatically archived to a designated folder in Box, and a notification is sent to the team's Slack channel to inform them of the project's completion and the location of the archived files.

Box + Hive + Google Sheets: When a file within a designated Box folder (related to a Hive project) is accessed (any event), the event details, including file name, user, and timestamp, are recorded in a Google Sheet. This allows for tracking and auditing of file access related to specific Hive projects.
