Why Integrate Jira and Google Forms?
Steps to Integrate Using Latenode
Benefits of Using This Integration:
In conclusion, the integration of Jira and Google Forms through Latenode not only enhances productivity but also fosters better communication within teams. By harnessing these powerful tools together, organizations can effectively manage their projects and respond to stakeholder input in a timely manner.
Connecting Jira and Google Forms can significantly enhance your workflow by streamlining data collection and project management processes. Here are three powerful methods to achieve this integration:
Utilizing Zapier allows you to create automated workflows, or "Zaps," to connect Google Forms entries directly to Jira tasks. For instance, you can set up a Zap that triggers whenever a new response is submitted in Google Forms, automatically creating a new issue in Jira with the form responses populated in the issue fields. This eliminates manual data entry and ensures that all relevant information is captured in Jira instantly.
If you are comfortable with a bit of coding, Google Apps Script is a powerful tool to bridge Google Forms and Jira. You can write a script that responds to form submissions by sending HTTP requests to the Jira API. This way, you can customize how data is sent to Jira, including setting issue types, priorities, and any custom fields specific to your projects.
Latenode offers a user-friendly visual interface that enables you to automate workflows without deep technical knowledge. You can create a scenario where every new Google Form submission leads to the creation of an issue in Jira, with the ability to configure how data is transferred and transformed. This method is particularly advantageous for those looking to automate processes efficiently and without coding.
By employing one or more of these methods, you can ensure that your teams stay in sync, minimizing delays and enhancing productivity throughout your projects.
Jira is a powerful project management tool that allows teams to plan, track, and manage software development projects effectively. One of the platform's standout features is its ability to integrate with various apps and services, enabling seamless workflows and enhanced productivity. Integrations allow Jira users to connect their favorite tools, automate processes, and centralize information within a single interface.
Integrations in Jira typically function through APIs, webhooks, or integration platforms. By utilizing these technologies, teams can automate repetitive tasks, such as updating issue statuses or syncing data between different tools, which minimizes manual effort. For example, using the integration platform Latenode, users can create customized workflows that directly link Jira with other applications, streamlining processes such as issue tracking, reporting, and notifications.
To leverage integrations effectively, consider following these steps:
By following these steps, teams can capitalize on the full potential of Jira's integrations, improving collaboration, efficiency, and project outcomes. With the right integrations in place, teams can focus on what matters most: delivering high-quality products and meeting their project goals.
Google Forms is a versatile tool designed to streamline data collection through surveys, quizzes, and forms. Its simplicity makes it accessible to users without requiring any coding skills. However, one of its greatest strengths lies in its ability to integrate seamlessly with various applications and platforms, enhancing its functionality and allowing for a more effective data management workflow.
Integrations enable users to connect Google Forms with other services, automating processes and facilitating better data analysis. For instance, integrating Google Forms with platforms like Latenode allows users to trigger workflows or actions based on form responses. This way, once a form is submitted, the data can be automatically sent to a spreadsheet, directly to a CRM system, or even trigger notifications through messaging applications.
Moreover, integrations can be customized to suit individual needs. Users can create conditional workflows based on responses or aggregate data into dashboards for real-time insights. This flexibility makes Google Forms not just a survey tool, but a powerful part of a wider data strategy, enabling teams to make informed decisions swiftly and efficiently.
The integration between Jira and Google Forms allows users to automatically create and manage Jira issues based on responses submitted through Google Forms. This streamlines workflows, improves data collection, and enhances collaboration among teams.
To set up the integration, follow these steps:
You can create various types of Jira issues, including:
Yes, during the integration setup in Latenode, you can customize which Google Form fields map to specific Jira issue fields, allowing you to include relevant information such as issue descriptions, priority levels, and assignees.
Yes, you can set up the integration to not only create but also update existing Jira issues. This can be accomplished by configuring the form to include a field for the Jira issue ID, which allows Latenode to identify and update the corresponding issue based on the responses submitted.

I am being able to reduce the time of building my backend and still have low costs. The other platforms are way more expensive. And its always easier to measure the expenses of a scenario with Latenode. The customer suppost always respond super fast.
Latenode and their support team have been great and responsive in providing my team with support in creating a workflow where our data from Google Sheet Form Submissions will take the users that submitted the form and then use our OpenAI API to create newsletters to send to them. Latenode's price point and use of credits through execution time allows it to be a cheaper alternative to Zapier or Make. Drag and drop modules give it a familiar experience when compared to its competitors and get the same job done at a cost-effective price.
Relaible alternative to Zapier and Make with Extended Functionality -JS Node, Headless Browser, AI Assistant. Ease of use and Support Quality
Affordable Automation with Robust Features – I've been using Latenode for over a month now, and I already prefer it over more popular options like Zapier, Pabbly, or Make. The biggest advantage of Latenode is its significantly lower automation costs, all while maintaining the same robust features. The only downside is the limited integrations, but that's understandable given that it's a newer player in the market. Overall, Latenode offers excellent value and has quickly become my go-to for automation needs. Significantly lower automation costs compared to Zapier, Pabbly, and Make Maintains the same robust features as more popular platforms Excellent value for money. Limited integrations due to being a newer player in the market
Best low code tool on market!! I am just starting my journey deeper but for time now this tool is excellent and it is far most better then make.com. I especially like the ease of use and the fact that for Google services, there's no need to manually go to the API or the Google console to look for the Client ID and similar things. For now evertyhing is perfectly fitted to my needs
I love this app! Completely perfect trial, I hope you guy can grow more. I love how they support users, in my case, there is a bug that make my own logics didn't work, but they support ASAP, fix the bug very soon, I want this app to grow!

Latenode A Great Choice For Low Code. I have been working with Latenode for about 5 months moving some flows from other services. The move has been great and the team is very responsive when help was needed to learn the new system. Their pricing is better than I have seen anywhere else 🔥
Latenode is Hero 🚀 Latenode blows away the competition with its unbeatable services: 99% uptime automations, affordable pricing saves me money, and the user-friendly interface keeps things running smooth plus for complex tasks, I can add custom code and headless browser automation. Forget Zapier, Latenode is my new workflow automation!
Latenode is an extremely impressive product! Latenode's support for custom code has allowed us to tailor automation solutions precisely to our (and our clients) needs. The platform is super flexible and we are very excited to see what other non-typical use cases we can implement using their product. Support is very helpful and it's nice to know that we have a whole community to lean on.
Latenode is a hidden gem! If you use Zapier for automation, check this out. Super similar features but way, WAY more affordable. The free plan is generous, and it's easy to set up workflows even if you're not tech-savvy. Perfect for small businesses or anyone wanting to simplify their life with automation on a budget. Highly recommend!
Beginning of Great Things. They're new, but doing an excellent job providing a very serious alternative to their competition. As a beginner, Latenodes documentation, templates and affiliate connections are all helpful to get your flow ideas started. Very friendly to communicate with and looking forward to their success 🚀
Best automation tool for the price. The price model is excelent for complex automation. The integrations are dev friendly and the Code optiones are a life saver. I think this software is a incredible product with an awesome future 🚀
Latenode is a powerful automation tool. Zapier is a powerful automation tool that can help businesses of all sizes save time and money. It's easy to use, even for those with no coding experience, and it can connect hundreds of different apps and services. However, it can be expensive for some users, and it can be difficult to troubleshoot when things go wrong. The best part of the application is that it is a cheaper system compared to other platforms 🔥
I honestly love how Latenode has approached automation. The "low-code" approach is perfect for my needs. I'm not a developer, but with the help of their AI helper I can get cool stuff done very quickly! For most of the time, the beautiful drag-n-drop canvas gets the job done very efficiently. I also love their method of creating your own "connectors" using nodules. Makes it very easy to re-use custom connection nodes in other scenarios. The pricing also makes a lot of sense if you're doing "less" but "longer running" processes.
You must try it! 🔥 I've been blown away by Latenode's ease of use and affordability. As someone who's currently testing it out, I can honestly say it's exceeded my expectations at every turn. The platform itself is incredibly intuitive. They've struck a perfect balance between no-code and low-code functionality, making it accessible for beginners but powerful enough for complex automations. The best part? During my testing phase, I haven't encountered a single error. Everything has run smoothly and exactly as intended. Latenode is a game-changer for anyone looking to streamline their workflows without breaking the bank. It's a must-try for anyone looking to boost their productivity.

Finally found what I was looking for...Even before seeing what was under the hood and meeting face to face with Daniel (CMO), I was already impressed with the business model compared to the others. As someone who's been marketing software products for over 2 decades, and a user of all things automation (to some extent or another) such as Zapier, Pabbly, n8n, and Active Pieces; I felt compelled to go right for a partnership deal with these guys. It was kind of a no-brainer. Looking forward to building some incredible automations for businesses around the world with this team.
