Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Jira, Inoreader, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Jira and Inoreader integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Jira and Inoreader (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Jira and Inoreader

Inoreader + Jira + Slack: When a new article appears in a specified Inoreader folder, the automation retrieves relevant information and adds a comment to a specified Jira issue. Finally, a message is sent to a dedicated Slack channel to notify the team about the new article and the updated Jira issue.

Jira + Inoreader + Google Sheets: When a Jira issue is updated, the automation searches for related articles in a specified Inoreader folder. The details of the Jira issue and the matched article are then added as a new row in a Google Sheet for tracking and analysis.
