Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Nimble, Google Groups, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Nimble and Google Groups integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Nimble and Google Groups (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Nimble and Google Groups
Nimble + Google Groups + Slack: When a new contact is added in Nimble, they are automatically added to a specified Google Group. Then, a direct message is sent to the new contact in Slack welcoming them to the group.
Google Groups + Nimble + Google Sheets: When a new member is added to a Google Group, their information is fetched. A new contact is created (or updated) in Nimble with their details. Finally, a new row is added to a Google Sheet to track the new sign-up.
