Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring OpenAI Vision, Alegra, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the OpenAI Vision and Alegra integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between OpenAI Vision and Alegra (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect OpenAI Vision and Alegra

Slack + OpenAI Vision + Alegra: When a new file is uploaded to a Slack channel, if it's a receipt image, OpenAI Vision analyzes it. The extracted data is then used to automatically create an expense entry in Alegra.

Alegra + OpenAI Vision + Google Sheets: When a new event occurs in Alegra (e.g., a new invoice, contact, etc.), use OpenAI Vision to analyze relevant attached images (if any, implementing placeholder functionality). Then the combined accounting and image data is saved to a new row in Google Sheets for analysis and anomaly detection.
