Create a New Scenario to Connect Salesforce and Google Business Profile
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Salesforce, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Salesforce or Google Business Profile will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Salesforce or Google Business Profile, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Select the Salesforce node from the app selection panel on the right.

Configure the Salesforce
Click on the Salesforce node to configure it. You can modify the Salesforce URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the Google Business Profile Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Salesforce node, select Google Business Profile from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Google Business Profile.

Authenticate Google Business Profile
Now, click the Google Business Profile node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Google Business Profile settings. Authentication allows you to use Google Business Profile through Latenode.

Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Salesforce, Google Business Profile, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Salesforce and Google Business Profile integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Salesforce and Google Business Profile (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Salesforce + Google Business Profile + Slack: When a new lead is created in Salesforce, the automation checks if there is a Google Business Profile review containing the lead's company name or other keywords. If a matching review is found, a notification is sent to a Slack channel to alert the sales team.
Google Business Profile + Google Sheets + Salesforce: When a new review is posted or an existing one is updated on Google Business Profile, the review details are added to a Google Sheet. Simultaneously, a new lead is created or updated in Salesforce with the review information.
