Create a New Scenario to Connect Sendgrid and QuickBooks
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Sendgrid, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Sendgrid or QuickBooks will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Sendgrid or QuickBooks, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Select the Sendgrid node from the app selection panel on the right.

Click on the Sendgrid node to configure it. You can modify the Sendgrid URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the QuickBooks Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Sendgrid node, select QuickBooks from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within QuickBooks.

Authenticate QuickBooks
Now, click the QuickBooks node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your QuickBooks settings. Authentication allows you to use QuickBooks through Latenode.

Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Sendgrid, QuickBooks, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Sendgrid and QuickBooks integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Sendgrid and QuickBooks (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Sendgrid + QuickBooks + Google Sheets: When a Sendgrid campaign is completed, retrieve relevant data. Search for associated invoices in QuickBooks based on email addresses from Sendgrid. Record campaign statistics and invoice payment status in a Google Sheet for reporting.
QuickBooks + Sendgrid + Slack: When a new invoice is created in QuickBooks, check if the invoice is overdue. If it is, send a payment reminder via Sendgrid to the client and notify the accounting team in a Slack channel.
