Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Shippo, Grist, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Shippo and Grist integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Shippo and Grist (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Shippo and Grist

Shippo + Grist + Slack: When a new shipping label is created in Shippo, this automation flow updates the corresponding record in Grist to reflect the updated shipping status and sends a Slack notification to the relevant channel, alerting them of the update.

Grist + Shippo + Twilio: When a new record with shipping information is created or updated in Grist, an order is automatically created in Shippo to generate the shipping label, and a Twilio SMS message is sent to the customer with the shipping details.
