Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Front, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Front integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Front (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Front

Slack + Front + Google Sheets: Track new support requests from Slack and Front in a Google Sheet for performance analysis. When a new message is posted in a Slack channel, its content is added as a row to a Google Sheet. Similarly, when a new event (presumably a conversation) occurs in Front, its details are also added as a row in the same Google Sheet.

Front + Jira + Slack: Create Jira issues from Front conversations and notify the team in Slack. When a new event occurs in Front, a new issue is created in Jira. A notification is then sent to a Slack channel with the details of the newly created Jira issue.
