Create a New Scenario to Connect SOS Inventory and Google Drive
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Click on the SOS Inventory node to configure it. You can modify the SOS Inventory URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the Google Drive Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the SOS Inventory node, select Google Drive from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Google Drive.

Authenticate Google Drive
Now, click the Google Drive node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Google Drive settings. Authentication allows you to use Google Drive through Latenode.

Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring SOS Inventory, Google Drive, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the SOS Inventory and Google Drive integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between SOS Inventory and Google Drive (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
SOS Inventory + Google Drive + Slack: When inventory levels are low (simulated by a new Sales Order in SOS Inventory), a backup of the inventory data is created in Google Drive. The purchasing manager is then notified in Slack.
Google Drive + SOS Inventory + Email: When a new product catalog is uploaded to Google Drive, the file is downloaded and an email with the product information is sent to SOS Inventory to update the product list. This requires custom handling in the email to process the product information.
