How to connect Bitbucket and Avaza
Create a New Scenario to Connect Bitbucket and Avaza
In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.

Add the First Step
Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Bitbucket, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Bitbucket or Avaza will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Bitbucket or Avaza, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Add the Bitbucket Node
Select the Bitbucket node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Bitbucket, Avaza, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Bitbucket and Avaza integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Bitbucket and Avaza (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Bitbucket and Avaza
Bitbucket + Slack + Avaza: When a new commit comment is added to a Bitbucket repository, the workflow checks if the comment contains specific keywords. If keywords are found, a notification is sent to a dedicated Slack channel, and a new task is created in Avaza.
Avaza + Bitbucket + Google Sheets: When a new event is triggered in Avaza (e.g. time entry), the workflow finds associated commits in Bitbucket based on project or task details. These commits are then logged into a Google Sheet for time tracking and commit analysis.
