How to connect Bitly and AI: Perplexity
Create a New Scenario to Connect Bitly and AI: Perplexity
In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.

Add the First Step
Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Bitly, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Bitly or AI: Perplexity will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Bitly or AI: Perplexity, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Add the Bitly Node
Select the Bitly node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Bitly, AI: Perplexity, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Bitly and AI: Perplexity integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Bitly and AI: Perplexity (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Bitly and AI: Perplexity
Bitly + Perplexity + Google Sheets: When a Bitly link is clicked, Perplexity analyzes the content of the destination URL to determine its relevance to a specific topic. This analysis, along with the Bitly link details, is then recorded in a Google Sheet for tracking and analysis.
AI: Perplexity + Bitly + X (Twitter): Perplexity generates a summary of an article based on a given URL. Bitly then shortens this URL, and a tweet is posted to X (Twitter) containing the summary and the shortened link.
