Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Canva, ActiveCampaign, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Canva and ActiveCampaign integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Canva and ActiveCampaign (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Canva and ActiveCampaign
ActiveCampaign + Canva + Google Sheets: When a new campaign email is sent in ActiveCampaign, extract the design asset URLs used. Then, retrieve the design asset details from Canva (if possible with a Canva action, none available). Finally, log the campaign name, asset URLs, and performance data (opens, clicks, bounces) into a Google Sheet.
ActiveCampaign + Canva + Slack: When a new campaign starts sending in ActiveCampaign, check if a specific Canva design is being used (no direct way to identify which designs are used, use a naming convention). If it is, post a notification to a dedicated Slack channel, mentioning the campaign name and the design asset's name or a link to it.
