Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Captions, Apify, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Captions and Apify integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and Apify (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Captions and Apify
Apify + Captions + Google Sheets: This flow monitors Apify for completed actor runs that extract trending video topics. It then uses Captions to generate captions for these topics and saves the generated captions, along with the original topic data, to a Google Sheet for analysis and tracking.
Apify + Captions + Slack: The automation scrapes product reviews using Apify. Once the scraping is complete, Captions summarizes the feedback. If the summary contains keywords indicating urgent issues, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to alert the team.
