Create a New Scenario to Connect Captions and Asana
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Captions, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Captions or Asana will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Captions or Asana, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Click on the Captions node to configure it. You can modify the Captions URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.

Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Captions node, select Asana from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Asana.

Authenticate Asana
Now, click the Asana node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Asana settings. Authentication allows you to use Asana through Latenode.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Captions, Asana, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Captions and Asana integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and Asana (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Captions + Asana + Slack: When a new video caption is generated via Captions, a task is created in Asana to review the caption. The video team is then notified in Slack about the new task.
Asana + Captions + Google Drive: When a video task is completed in Asana, generate captions using Captions and save the generated captions to Google Drive.
