Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Captions, LiveChat, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Captions and LiveChat integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and LiveChat (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Captions and LiveChat
LiveChat + Captions + Slack: When a chat is deactivated in LiveChat, the transcript is sent to Captions. Captions processes the transcript and sends relevant snippets to a Slack channel for review to improve caption accuracy.
LiveChat + Google Sheets + Captions: When a new chat is deactivated on LiveChat, the transcript and timestamp are logged in Google Sheets. Captions then analyzes the data to create captions for key moments in the chat and sends them to Captions.
