Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Confluence, Circle, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Confluence and Circle integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Confluence and Circle (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Confluence and Circle
Confluence + Circle + Slack: When a new page is created in Confluence, a corresponding announcement is posted to a specified Circle community. Then, a notification is sent to a dedicated Slack channel to alert members about the new Confluence update.
Circle + Confluence + Google Docs: When a new event is created in Circle, the event details and discussion can be archived as a new page in Confluence. A summary of the event is then generated and appended to a designated Google Docs document for wider sharing.
