Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Ghost, Freshdesk, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Ghost and Freshdesk integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Ghost and Freshdesk (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Ghost and Freshdesk
Ghost + Freshdesk + Slack: When a new post is published on a Ghost blog, a ticket is created in Freshdesk to gather feedback. A notification is then sent to a designated Slack channel to inform the team about the new feedback ticket.
Freshdesk + Ghost + Mailchimp: When a new ticket is created in Freshdesk (acting as a support article), the system triggers a Mailchimp campaign to inform Ghost blog subscribers about the new article. A tag is added to subscribers in Mailchimp so they can receive updates in the future.
