Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Ghost, Google Forms, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Ghost and Google Forms integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Ghost and Google Forms (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Ghost and Google Forms

Google Forms + Ghost + Slack: When a new form is submitted in Google Forms, a draft post is created in Ghost. Then, a Slack notification is sent to a specified channel to notify the editor about the new draft.

Google Forms + Google Sheets + Ghost: When a new form is submitted in Google Forms, the response is added as a new row in Google Sheets. When a specific column in that row is updated (e.g., an 'Approved' column), the data from the row is used to create a new published post in Ghost.
