Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Glide, Dropbox, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Glide and Dropbox integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Glide and Dropbox (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Glide and Dropbox

Glide + Dropbox + Google Sheets: Collect data via a Glide app, upload associated files to a designated Dropbox folder, and then update a Google Sheets spreadsheet with summary information about the new data and file locations.

Dropbox + Glide + Slack: When a new file is added to a specified Dropbox folder, share a link to the file in a Glide app, and then post a notification with the file link to a dedicated Slack channel for team updates.
