How to connect GoCanvas and Creatomate
Create a New Scenario to Connect GoCanvas and Creatomate
In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.

Add the First Step
Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a GoCanvas, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, GoCanvas or Creatomate will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find GoCanvas or Creatomate, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Add the GoCanvas Node
Select the GoCanvas node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring GoCanvas, Creatomate, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the GoCanvas and Creatomate integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between GoCanvas and Creatomate (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect GoCanvas and Creatomate
GoCanvas + Creatomate + Google Sheets: When a new submission is received in GoCanvas, Creatomate renders a video based on the submission data. Once the video is rendered, a new row is added to a Google Sheet to log the completion.
Creatomate + GoCanvas + Slack: When a new video is rendered in Creatomate, triggered perhaps by GoCanvas data, a notification is sent to a Slack channel to alert the team of the completed video render.
