Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring GoCanvas, Mailhook, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the GoCanvas and Mailhook integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between GoCanvas and Mailhook (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect GoCanvas and Mailhook
GoCanvas + Google Sheets + Mailhook: When a new submission is received in GoCanvas, the data is added as a new row in Google Sheets. Then, Mailhook is triggered to send a summary email based on the new row data in Google Sheets.
GoCanvas + Mailhook + Slack: A new submission in GoCanvas triggers Mailhook. Mailhook then processes the submission data and sends a formatted message to a specified Slack channel for team awareness.
