Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Google Analytics, Basecamp, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Analytics and Basecamp integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Analytics and Basecamp (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Analytics and Basecamp

Google Analytics + Slack + Basecamp: When website traffic from a specific campaign exceeds a predefined threshold (using Google Analytics Run Report), a message is sent to a dedicated Slack channel. This Slack message alerts project managers, who are prompted to review the campaign performance in Basecamp by adding a card to a specific project.

Basecamp + Google Analytics + Google Sheets: When a new project is created in Basecamp, the data from this creation triggers the tracking of project completion rates. This data is then correlated with website conversion data from Google Analytics, and the combined information is logged into a Google Sheets spreadsheet for analysis.
