Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Google AppSheet, LiveChat, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google AppSheet and LiveChat integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google AppSheet and LiveChat (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google AppSheet and LiveChat

Google AppSheet + LiveChat + Slack: When a new chat is started in LiveChat, the details are checked against Google AppSheet records. If the user is marked as having an urgent issue in Google AppSheet, a notification is sent to a dedicated Slack channel.

LiveChat + Google AppSheet + Google Sheets: Whenever a LiveChat chat is deactivated, the transcript and associated customer details are added as a new row to a Google AppSheet database. Then, key metrics (number of chats, average chat duration) from Google AppSheet data are periodically summarized and updated within a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
