Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Chat and Creatomate integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Chat and Creatomate (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google Chat and Creatomate
Google Calendar + Creatomate + Google Chat: When a new or modified event is created in Google Calendar, a Creatomate video is rendered. Once the video is ready, a message with the video link is sent to a Google Chat space to announce the video creation.
Creatomate + Google Chat + Airtable: When a new video render is completed in Creatomate, a preview message is posted to Google Chat. The video details, including the URL, are then saved to an Airtable base for tracking and reporting purposes.
