Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Cloud Pub\Sub and Gender API integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Cloud Pub\Sub and Gender API (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google Cloud Pub\Sub and Gender API
Google Cloud Pub/Sub + Gender API + Google Sheets: When a new message is received in Google Cloud Pub/Sub, the workflow uses the Gender API to determine the gender associated with the user's name found in the message. The gender data, along with other information from the Pub/Sub message, is then recorded in a Google Sheet for demographic analysis.
Google Cloud Pub/Sub + Gender API + Slack: When a new user subscribes (a message is published to a Google Cloud Pub/Sub topic), the workflow uses the Gender API to determine the user's gender based on their name. A targeted welcome message is then posted in a designated Slack channel.
