Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Google Drive, Caspio, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Drive and Caspio integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Drive and Caspio (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google Drive and Caspio
Google Drive + Caspio + Slack: When a new file is added to Google Drive, its metadata is added as a new record in a Caspio database. A Slack message is then sent to notify a channel about the new file and its database entry.
Caspio + Google Drive + Gmail: When a record is created in Caspio, a Google Drive document is generated from a template using the record's data. A Gmail confirmation email with a link to the new document is then sent.
