Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Groups and Bitly integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Groups and Bitly (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google Groups and Bitly
Google Groups + Bitly + Twitter: When a new message is posted in a Google Group, a Bitly link is shortened and then could be posted on Twitter. However, since there is no Twitter app available, this automation stops at Bitly.
Bitly + Google Groups + Slack: When a Bitly link is created, post a message in a Google Group and a Slack channel to notify the team of the new link.
