Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Harvest, Avaza, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Harvest and Avaza integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Harvest and Avaza (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Harvest and Avaza
Harvest + Avaza + Slack: When a new time entry is created in Harvest for a project, this automation updates the project's budget in Avaza. Then, a notification is sent to the project team in Slack to inform them about the time logged and budget update.
Avaza + Harvest + Google Sheets: When a project is completed in Avaza, this automation retrieves the actual time spent on the project from Harvest. It then calculates the project's profitability and stores the results in a Google Sheets spreadsheet for analysis.
