Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Harvest, CloudConvert, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Harvest and CloudConvert integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Harvest and CloudConvert (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Harvest and CloudConvert
Harvest + CloudConvert + Google Drive: When a new time entry is created in Harvest, a report is generated and sent to CloudConvert to convert it into a PDF. The PDF is then saved to a specified folder in Google Drive.
CloudConvert + Harvest + Slack: When CloudConvert finishes converting an invoice to PDF, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel notifying the finance team. A time entry is also created in Harvest to track billable hours related to the conversion process.
