Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Hive, Airtable, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Hive and Airtable integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Hive and Airtable (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Hive and Airtable

Hive + Airtable + Slack: When a task is completed in Hive, this automation updates a specified project tracking table in Airtable. A notification is then sent to the project team in Slack to inform them of the update.

Airtable + Hive + Google Calendar: When a new project entry is added to Airtable, a corresponding task is automatically created in Hive. A deadline for the project is then scheduled in Google Calendar based on data from the Airtable record.
