Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Hive, Beamer, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Hive and Beamer integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Hive and Beamer (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Hive and Beamer

Hive + Beamer + Slack: When a new action is created in a Hive project, a new post is created in Beamer to announce the update. A Slack message is then sent to a channel to notify the team about the new Beamer post.

Beamer + Hive + Jira: When a new post is created in Beamer (e.g., new feature announcement), a message is created in Hive to collect user feedback. This Hive message then triggers the creation of a new issue in Jira to track and address the feedback.
