Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Inoreader and Discourse integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Inoreader and Discourse (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Inoreader and Discourse
Inoreader + Discourse + Slack: When a new article appears in a specified Inoreader folder, a new topic is created in a Discourse forum. A Slack message is then sent to a channel to notify members of the new topic.
Discourse + Inoreader + Twitter: When a new topic is created in Discourse, the content of the first post is saved as a web page in Inoreader. A tweet is then sent with a link to the Discourse topic. Since there is no direct Twitter support, we'll simulate the tweet with a notification to Slack.
