Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Jira, Awork, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Jira and Awork integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Jira and Awork (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Jira and Awork
Jira + Awork + Slack: When a Jira issue is updated (specifically, when its status changes to 'Resolved'), a similar task is automatically created in Awork. The project team is then notified in Slack about the new Awork task.
Awork + Jira + Google Sheets: When a task is updated to a completed status in Awork, this automation finds the corresponding Jira issue. Then logs the Awork task details and the associated Jira issue resolution status into a Google Sheet for progress tracking.
