Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Jira, CloudConvert, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Jira and CloudConvert integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Jira and CloudConvert (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Jira and CloudConvert
Jira + CloudConvert + Google Drive: When a new issue is created in Jira, the attachments are converted to a specified format using CloudConvert and then stored in a designated Google Drive folder for archiving purposes.
CloudConvert + Jira + Slack: When a CloudConvert job finishes, the automation checks if the converted file is related to a specific Jira task. If it is, a notification is sent to a designated Slack channel with details about the converted file and the associated Jira task.
