Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring JobNimbus, Docparser, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the JobNimbus and Docparser integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between JobNimbus and Docparser (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect JobNimbus and Docparser
JobNimbus + Docparser + Google Sheets: When a Job is updated in JobNimbus (e.g., completion), trigger Docparser to fetch the associated invoice document from a URL. The parsed invoice data is then added as a new row in Google Sheets for reporting purposes.
Docparser + JobNimbus + Slack: When Docparser parses a new contract, the workflow updates the corresponding job details in JobNimbus, potentially adding the parsed data as notes or updating custom fields. Finally, a Slack message is sent to a designated channel to notify the team of the new contract and job update.
