Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Linear, DonationAlerts, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Linear and DonationAlerts integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Linear and DonationAlerts (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Linear and DonationAlerts
Linear + DonationAlerts + Discord bot: When a Linear issue is resolved, the automation retrieves the latest donation alerts from DonationAlerts and then sends a message to a Discord channel, thanking donors for their support.
DonationAlerts + Linear + Slack: When DonationAlerts detects a new donation alert, the automation checks if a donation goal has been reached. If it has, a task is automatically created in Linear, and a notification is sent to a Slack channel.
