Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring LiveChat, Ghost, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the LiveChat and Ghost integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between LiveChat and Ghost (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect LiveChat and Ghost

LiveChat + Ghost + Slack: When a new chat is initiated in LiveChat, a draft post is created in Ghost with the chat transcript. A Slack message is then sent to a designated channel to notify writers about the new draft.

Ghost + LiveChat + Email: When a new post is published in Ghost, a message is sent via LiveChat to members. An email digest containing the new post is also sent to subscribers.
