After configuring Mailgun, Basecamp, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Mailgun and Basecamp integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Mailgun and Basecamp (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Mailgun and Basecamp
Mailgun + Basecamp + Slack: When a new delivery failure is registered in Mailgun, a message is added to a specific Basecamp project. This triggers a notification in a designated Slack channel to alert the team.
Basecamp + Mailgun + Google Sheets: When a new project is created in Basecamp, a thank you email is sent via Mailgun. The details of the sent email (recipient, timestamp) are logged in a Google Sheet for tracking purposes.
