Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Mailhook, Box, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Mailhook and Box integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Mailhook and Box (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Mailhook and Box
Mailhook + Box + Slack: When a new email is received via Mailhook, its attachments are saved to a specified folder in Box. A summary of the email and the saved attachments is then sent to a designated Slack channel.
Box + Mailhook + Google Sheets: When a new file is uploaded to a specific folder in Box, an email is sent via Mailhook confirming the file upload. The file name, upload date, and other relevant details are then logged in a Google Sheet for reporting and tracking purposes.
