Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Mailhook, Chargebee, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Mailhook and Chargebee integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Mailhook and Chargebee (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Mailhook and Chargebee

Mailhook + Chargebee + Slack: When a new subscription is detected via Mailhook, the automation retrieves the customer details from Chargebee. Finally, a message is sent to a Slack channel notifying the sales team about the new subscription.

Mailhook + Chargebee + Google Sheets: This automation monitors a Mailhook for new emails indicating subscription events (new or cancelled). It then uses Chargebee to fetch subscription details and logs the relevant information (subscription status, customer ID) into a Google Sheet for reporting.
