Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Mailhook, Creatomate, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Mailhook and Creatomate integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Mailhook and Creatomate (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Mailhook and Creatomate
Mailhook + Creatomate + Google Drive: When a new email is received via Mailhook, Creatomate renders a video based on its content. The resulting video is then uploaded to a specified folder in Google Drive for easy sharing and access.
Creatomate + Mailhook + Slack: If a Creatomate video render fails (which can be detected through a new email via Mailhook indicating the failure), a notification is sent to a designated Slack channel to alert the support team. This is triggered when the render status changes.
