Depending on your setup, data should flow between Microsoft Excel and Discourse (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Microsoft Excel and Discourse

Microsoft Excel + Discourse + Slack: When a new row is added to a Microsoft Excel table, the data is summarized and posted as a new topic in Discourse. A notification about the new Discourse topic is then sent to a designated Slack channel.

Discourse + Microsoft Excel + Google Sheets: When a new topic is created in Discourse, track the topic details, including the topic name and post content, in a Google Sheet. Data can be exported from an existing Microsoft Excel worksheet to populate other columns in the Google Sheet.
