Create a New Scenario to Connect Microsoft Excel and Odoo
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Microsoft Excel, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Microsoft Excel or Odoo will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Microsoft Excel or Odoo, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Configure the Microsoft Excel
Click on the Microsoft Excel node to configure it. You can modify the Microsoft Excel URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the Odoo Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Microsoft Excel node, select Odoo from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Odoo.

Authenticate Odoo
Now, click the Odoo node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Odoo settings. Authentication allows you to use Odoo through Latenode.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Microsoft Excel, Odoo, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Microsoft Excel and Odoo integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Microsoft Excel and Odoo (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Microsoft Excel + Odoo + Slack: When a new row is added to a Microsoft Excel table, a new contact is created in Odoo. Subsequently, a summary notification is sent to a designated Slack channel to inform the team of the new contact creation.
Odoo + Microsoft Excel + Google Sheets: Data from Odoo is first retrieved. Then, this data is added as rows in a Microsoft Excel worksheet. Finally, the data from the Excel worksheet is added as rows in a Google Sheet for collaborative analysis and reporting.
