Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Miro, Canny, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Miro and Canny integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Miro and Canny (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Miro and Canny
Miro + Canny + Slack: When a new idea is created on a Miro board, it's automatically posted to Canny for community voting. A notification is then sent to a designated Slack channel to inform the team about the new suggestion.
Canny + Miro + Jira: When a feature request in Canny receives a new vote, the system checks if the post has reached a vote threshold. If it has, a new task is created in Jira, and the relevant Miro board link is added to the Jira task description, making it easy for developers to access the visual context of the feature request.
