Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Missive, Apify, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Missive and Apify integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Missive and Apify (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Missive and Apify
Missive + Apify + Slack: When a new post is created in Missive containing a URL, Apify scrapes the URL. If specific keywords (company mentions) are found, a message is sent to a Slack channel.
Apify + Missive + Google Sheets: When an Apify task finishes running, the scraped data is fetched from the dataset and saved to a Google Sheet. A summary of the data and a link to the sheet are then shared via Missive.
