Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Missive, Fillout, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Missive and Fillout integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Missive and Fillout (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Missive and Fillout
Fillout + Missive + Slack: When a new submission is received in Fillout, a new conversation is created in Missive to manage the response. A notification is then sent to a designated Slack channel informing the team of the new submission and providing a link to the Missive conversation.
Missive + Fillout + Google Sheets: This automation tracks new Missive conversations. When a new conversation is started, the automation checks to see if the conversation relates to a Fillout Submission. The automation then adds a new row to a Google Sheet, recording details about the Missive conversation and related Fillout submission for reporting purposes.
