Depending on your setup, data should flow between Monster API and Missive (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Monster API and Missive
Monster API + Missive + Slack: When the Monster API finds a new monster based on certain criteria (e.g., using 'Fetch Result' after an initial search or instruction), a new conversation is automatically created in Missive to discuss the finding. Subsequently, a notification is sent to a designated Slack channel to alert the team about the new monster and the Missive conversation link.
Missive + Monster API + Google Sheets: When a new post is created in Missive related to monster encounters (e.g., a thread discussing a specific monster), the workflow extracts relevant data about the monster (potentially via 'Fetch Result' or by using 'Whisper Large V3' to summarize the post content and infer monster details) and logs this data into a Google Sheet for analysis. This allows for tracking monster data mentioned in conversations.
