After configuring Motion, DonationAlerts, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Motion and DonationAlerts integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Motion and DonationAlerts (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Motion and DonationAlerts
Motion + DonationAlerts + Discord: When Motion detects movement (represented as a Task Event), send a custom alert via DonationAlerts. This allows for tailored messages based on the motion detected. Note: There is no Discord action available, so DonationAlerts will be used to send the notification.
DonationAlerts + Motion + Telegram: When a new donation is received via DonationAlerts, trigger Motion to create a task, acting as a record request. Once the task is created, send a message to Telegram.
